Notice how nice white things are?

Like they consumed clean, an unquantifiable medium

And yet if you rived up my floorboards beneath my carpet flaming

And thrust my head below to be within all webs and darkness

So that millions of little insects would crawl in every orofice

Whilst I still draw breath

I then became still

And the gums of a weasel flew by

There is never enough give and take

Not enough meeting half way

Not enough sacrifice of the human kind

Maybe if we all walked our lives naked, the pride would leave our eyes

As we realised: all the same song

As we trust in God to tie all loose ends together

Keeping the laws of balance, keeping it all fair

It's all we can do, waiting for tides to turn

And faster movement toward order

Hold on to that light in the sky

As soon as the wings are strong you'll be able to fly
